Huskimo was born on a farm in the South West of Western Australia. Big skies. Long mornings. A Golden Retriever named Biggles who lived fully — in the dam before breakfast, chasing kangaroos by mid-morning, back on the couch by afternoon with muddy paws and zero regrets. He needed gear that could keep up and for a long time, nothing could. What was out there was built for somewhere else — a milder climate, a gentler life, a dog that stayed mostly indoors. It was built to be replaced.

Fast fashion for dogs: thin materials, short seasons, gear that ended up in landfill before the year was out. And if your dog swam or lived outdoors the way Biggles did? Everything reeked. That particular smell — wet dog baked into fabric that never quite dries properly — became the thing every dog owner just accepted. We didn't.
